This summer, thanks to the sponsorship of Urianium 1, we organized an excursion for our children to the sights of our capital city, Astana.
The company purchased 20 round-trip train tickets, booked excellent hotel rooms, and provided the children with three good meals a day. The train tickets were for compartment carriages, and the company practically purchased half of an entire train carriage.
The excursion program included visits to:
- Baiterek Tower;
- the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation;
- Khan Shatyr, including the opportunity to enjoy all the attractions;
- a boat trip along the Ishim River;
- museums;
- amusement parks.
The entire trip lasted 22 days and became an unforgettable adventure for our children.
Before the trip, many of our children had never traveled by train or slept in a train compartment. For them, even the train journey itself was an exciting new experience.
The monumental and modern buildings of the new capital made a lasting impression on the children. Khan Shatyr impressed them the most, especially the swimming pool located beneath the highest point of the structure’s dome.
The boat trip along the Ishim River was another unforgettable experience. Most of the children had never even seen a boat before, let alone traveled on one.
This trip became an unforgettable memory that our children will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
